Ermal graduated in Clinical Psychology in 2004 from Tirana University and was trained and supervised in Art Therapy while working for SOS KD International (2006 – 2010) under guidance of Ingeborg Breder, from University of Oslo. Since then he has practiced art therapy with children and youth and also offered trainings on art therapy.
Ermal has worked as clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in various NGOs, with vulnerable children and youth, from 2005 till 2017.
During the period 2015 – 2017 followed the specialisation course in CBT from Israeli Association for Behavioural-Cognitive Therapy (ITA) in collaboration with Albanian Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AACBT). Is member of AACBT from 2015.
From 2015 is working in Private practice as Therapist, mostly working with adults, and also as trainer and supervisor. Also from 2017 is Cofounder and Executive Director of Centre for Integrated Psychological Services, Albania.
From 2019 is Member of International Society for Schema Therapy and Advanced Schema therapist in individual therapy. From March 2022 he is supervisor for individual schema therapy and from March 2025 Ermal is certified as Trainer from ISST.
Tijana Mirović holds a PhD in clinical psychology and is accredited advanced level schema therapist, trainer, and supervisor (ISST), Systemic Family therapist and CBT / Rational Emotive Behavioral therapist (Associate Fellow of Albert Ellis Institute). She was, until 2019 an associate professor at the University and has owned and managed a counseling center (Counseling center Mozaik) in Belgrade, Serbia since 2009. In 2016 Dr Mirović founded Schema Therapy Center Belgrade (the first accredited schema therapy center in the region) and subsequently held accredited trainings and supervisions in Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Egypt. In addition to this, Tijana is creator of „Trauma – our story“ project, author and host of the series „Trauma Heroes“ and „ZOOMing Trauma“, editor-in-chief of professional publications published by Mozaik and Schema Therapy Center Belgrade. She authored / co-authored “Schema Therapy Cards set”, three books, seven book chapters and numerous research papers related to schema therapy or trauma.
She graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad in 2006. She has worked in institutions of social and child welfare, in various fields involving children, adolescents, and adults.
She also has experience in organizational psychology, as well as teaching and training experience in the field of education. She has collaborated with various non-governmental organizations (providing counselling to families, LGBT individuals, children and adolescents, and delivering trainings).
She holds an European Certificate in Systemic Family Psychotherapy and has been working in private practice since 2015, primarily with adults. She has been trained in various psychotherapy modalities (CBT, ACT, CFT, Psychoanalysis, Schema Therapy with couples) and is also an EMDR therapist under supervision.
Since 2023, she has been an Advanced Schema Therapist in individual therapy and a member of the International Society of Schema Therapy. As of February 2026, she becomes a Supervisor for Individual Schema Therapy.

Dr. Elvis Popaj is an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist and Supervisor accredited by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). He is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, trainer, and university lecturer based in Albania.
Dr. Popaj has extensive experience working with individuals facing complex psychological difficulties, including personality disorders, trauma-related conditions, anxiety, and relational difficulties. His clinical work integrates Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed approaches, with particular expertise in experiential techniques such as Imagery Rescripting.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Popaj provides supervision and training to psychotherapists and mental health professionals, supporting the development of Schema Therapy competencies across the region. He has delivered numerous trainings on topics such as trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, de-escalation strategies, and psychotherapy practice, collaborating with universities, NGOs, and international organizations.
